A group of youngsters were celebrating Lag Ba\u2019omer in the city center when a bomb exploded in their midst. Two 16-year-olds \u2013 Boaz Lahav and David Lankri \u2013 were killed and 36 other youths wounded.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
He was closely associated with jailed Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life-terms in prison for his role in a series of terrorist attacks against Israelis at the beginning of the second intifada, which erupted in September 2000.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
