At a working meeting in Beijing Monday, visiting Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Premier Li Keqlang signed accords for setting up a free trade zone between the two countries, a speed track for mutual business investments, and the discussion of a direct Shanghai-Tel Aviv air route. One accord provided for 20,000 Chinese building workers to be sent to Israel. The two governments also established a fund for promoting research and development, with each putting up $20million. During his four-day China trip, accompanied by dozens of Israeli businessmen, Netanyahu will also be meeting the Chinese president.
