Masked gunmen in Egyptian military uniforms Friday stopped a bus carrying Coptic Christians from the southern town of Minya to the Monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor and sprayed it with gunfire, killing at least 26 people and wounding 25 others, The health ministry cited witnesses as saying there had been between eight and 10 attackers. The group was traveling in two buses and a small truck.
